RHINO CHILDREN’S ART WORKSHOP FOR MARDI GRAS Summary : Mask making and other Carnival crafts for kids. SATURDAY, JANUARY 9 11 a.m. RHINO Contemporary Crafts Company (Third Floor, Canal Place, 333 Canal St)—a non-profit cooperative of Louisiana fine crafts artists who use their gallery space to conduct demonstrations and sponsor public craft exhibits—presents a “Mardi Gras Masks and More” children’s art workshop. Rhino artist Cathy Cooper and others will be on hand to help children make Mardi Gras masks and other festive Carnival regalia. Refreshments provided. $5 donation  for materials.
